Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ sticks of butter (melted and cooled)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Directions:

- Preheat oven to 325. Prepare your baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.

- In a large bowl, cream together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Either mix by hand or use a stand until light and fluffy.

-  Add egg and vanilla into the wet mixture and mix till well combined.

- Add flour, baking soda, and salt in a smaller bowl and mix well together before slowly adding to the wet ingredients. Mix till well combined.

- Stir in ¾ cup of Eventful Sweets Chopped M&Ms until the batter is well combined. Remember to scrap the bottom of the bowl to incorporate all of the dough with the chopped M&Ms.

- Scoop 1 ½ inch balls and roll them into a smooth ball shape. Place 6 doughs per baking sheet.

- Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand.

- Place Eventful Sweets M&Ms Whole to the top of the dough pucks.

- Bake for 13 minutes (12-15 depending on your oven). Edges will be lightly browned, but the middle will be pale in color and soft.

- Let them cool on a wire rack. As they cool, they will firm up.
