ABOUT US:

Eventful Sweets started in Minnesota in 2019 as a side project between Husband and Wife (Ben and Hanna) and Ben's cousin Kurt to offer dessert toppings for anyone doing an ice cream bar or similar themed dessert option at their events. What we didn't expect was how many local ice cream shops, trucks, cookie stores, bakeries, etc... were also looking to order dessert toppings online. It wasn't long before life got a little sweeter and we all quit our day jobs and started shipping nationwide.
In 2022 we opened our second warehouse in Draper, UT to get our loyal customers faster shipping times in the Western part of the country. Despite our growth, we are dedicated to maintaining the values of a family business with a focus on our customers and their needs. We are so grateful we get to work with delicious toppings and some of the tastiest businesses around. It makes our lives Eventful and Sweet!

Ben here! It might be cliche, but I first want to thank you (trusted reader) for working with our small business. It's because of you that I get to look forward to every day at work. There are so many creative businesses, chefs, and do it yourselfers that use our products to make people happy. It's a hard profession to beat! But it's not all that I do! Outside of work, you might catch me golfing, playing tennis or pickleball, mountain biking, skiing or pretty much anything else outdoors. You might also see one of those fluffy Golden Retrievers with me that I know my wife most likely mentioned to you in her section. During the winter I'm cheering on my favorite hockey team, the Colorado Avalanche (Sorry Minnesota customers!) or contemplating if I want to try out ice fishing - which all of the people who grew up in Minnesota claim is a good time.

Hi everybody! I'm Hanna Rode, one of the founders of Eventful Sweets. I love being with family, friends and my two fluffy Golden Retrievers. If I'm not at Eventful Sweets, or traveling, I'm reading a mystery/thriller I found on Booktok, watching 'Below Deck', or cooking up something spicy in the kitchen! I will always cherish the late nights that were spent in coffee shops developing everything Eventful Sweets is today. Thank you so much for being a part of our journey!

Hi everyone! My name is Kurt Rode, I am one of the owners of Eventful Sweets. Candy was brewed in my veins and is my passion along with a few other things. I love traveling and all outdoor activities; especially chasing the powder during winter and boating in the beautiful Minnesota summers. If I am not outside, you will find me binge watching a good TV series or cheering on the Oregon Ducks. Thank you all for supporting Eventful Sweets! Go Ducks!
